It is woven from many threads, a handcrafted piece of jewelry.

There's the good craftsmanship.

The passion for the most beautiful and precious materials nature has created.

There's the everyday with colleagues who work well together, each giving their best, and together creating unique small works.

Conversations about life and dreams, and meeting people.

This is how a fairy tale begins, and mine started a long, long time ago.
I stumbled upon a craft. The goldsmith craft.

In 1987, I began my goldsmith apprenticeship, and four years later, I held my journeyman's certificate in my hand.
In 1995, the postman delivered my own VAT number, and I set up my own goldsmith's workshop.

There was no plan, barely even a dream; I took the plunge and started a small shop with a workshop in Frederiksberg.

It's a cliché, that #livingthedream, but that's how it turned out. Milas became my dreams, my dreams became Milas.

In 1997, I moved into Kompagnistræde 8.
It's located in the heart of Copenhagen, amidst the finest old houses in the King's beautiful city, and for me, it's the best place in the world.

I love our city, and I feel lucky and privileged every single day as I cycle here and put the key in the door of my beloved gold shop.
