The different wedding rings

It is in the store that we create the opportunities, the dreams, and the intimate space for you.

We try on wedding rings together. The most important thing is the shape; it should feel like coming home when you put a ring on.

We have delicate, slim eternity rings. Wedding rings with a single large white diamond. Wedding rings with flowers and a sprinkle of colored diamonds. Wide declarations of love. Soft, organic rings, and many more. And if you don't see exactly what you're dreaming of, we'll create it for you.

Should the man wear a wedding ring?

It's not uncommon for a man to feel a bit awkward about wearing a ring: it feels strange.
Fitting is everything!

For 25 years, I've seen men go from "I'll never wear a ring!"
to "I'm simply so happy with my ring, it's just me, I can't do without it."

So, dear sir!

It's a really big decision if you've never worn a ring, but just come in, let's look at your hands, see what fits you perfectly.

Perhaps you'll also experience that feeling of having a ring that fits you perfectly.

The order

Perhaps you'll be ready to order your wedding rings immediately, or perhaps you'd like to go home and think about it a bit.

Sometimes we need to investigate further to calculate prices for you.

Once you've decided which wedding rings you'd like us to make for you, you'll pay a deposit on the rings.
And then we'll get started; we'll forge, file, solder, and roll what will ultimately become your handmade wedding rings.

Most often, you'll need to come for a fitting within a week or two of ordering the rings.

If beautiful diamonds are to be set in one or both rings, we use the first fitting to mark where the stone should be placed.

You decide on the engraving for the wedding rings.
We have several engraving samples you can look at when you make your decision.

After that, we finish the wedding rings. This takes a week or two, sometimes just a day.

You come and pick up the rings and pay the remaining balance.

Lifetime service on wedding rings

You might think that's all, but there's actually a little more, because we offer lifelong service on wedding rings at Milas.
This means you can always pop into our store in Copenhagen to have your wedding rings cleaned, inspected, matted, or polished. Most of these services are free, and you can come as often as you like.

An exception is rhodium plating for white gold, which costs DKK 450 and is typically done once a year, but this is getting a bit technical, so we can explain it when you visit.

Hold hands and visit us at Kompagnistræde 8.

Are some times better than others?
That's hard to say, but Saturdays can be busy.
We have 8 goldsmiths and goldsmith apprentices to help you, but on Saturdays, there are fewer of us, yet we always find time.

If you live far away, please call us, and we'll figure out how to help you with your rings, perhaps via email, with the help of pictures, etc., so you can save one or two drives.
