My gold team

there's one who plays football
One who climbs
And one who does yoga
Then there's me, who prefers heavy strength training
There's one who can sew, and four who can knit.
There's one who's good at baking cakes and one who's best at salads. There's one who has had stress and me who has had breast cancer
There are two sensitive mothers, and several who might want children one day.
There are six who love gold and tourmalines.
there are two who talk a lot about politics and current affairs
There's one who is incredibly good at Instagram and me who is better at Facebook
there are two who love Excel and me who doesn't know what it is
there's one who loves things to go fast.
And one who prefers to take their time.
There are five patient ones and five impatient ones, but never at the same time
There are six who love this profession... our profession.
There's one who gives my ideas form
There's one who gives my ideas structure
There's one who questions when necessary
there's one who creates order in chaos
There are six who are always happy to help each other and learn more
there are six who really like each other and think every day is a good day... when we are together

Vigga

Vigga is a special story, because she is more than just one of my jewelers. Vigga is my eldest daughter and has been with me in the shop and workshop for 25 years.

Suddenly, my Milas became our Milas, and one generation became two: Milas2G.

It is a profound joy to share my fascination and love for the materials and the craft with someone I am so closely connected to. It's never boring; she's talented, thankfully. She is ardently dedicated, assiduous, and full of passion.

Vigga has completed the diamond course in goldsmithing and diligently stays updated on the latest in diamonds.

Additionally, she is passionate about Milas developing in terms of sustainability.

Vigga won the Danish Championship in Goldsmith Craft in 2021, and in 2023, she designed the task for the same championship.

Lea

Qualified sales assistant in gold and silver 2014

Lea is a trained goldsmith since 2018, awarded with the silversmith's silver medal.

2nd place at the Danish Championship in Goldsmithing in 2018

Nordic Champion in Goldsmithing in 2018

Has been with Milas since 2014.

Is my mind reader, my dream interpreter, my master's apprentice.

Lea is technical, thorough, patient, understanding, nerdy, and professor-absentminded and pleasant.

Margrethe

She is an apprentice goldsmith. She completed the first two years of her apprenticeship at a large workshop in Sweden.

She started with us in November 2023 and is currently in the process of completing the final two years of her goldsmith training.

Margrethe is so skilled that some days we forget she is still an apprentice.

We are happy that we found each other and that Milas can train yet another talented goldsmith in a long line.

Alma - The Little Treasure

You can have women and cakes and strawberries for fun, but there's nothing as lovely as a doggy-woggy

Ten years at least… I've spent building up the courage to get that dog.

And she's not even really mine

My youngest daughter Carla is Alma's real mother

But I'm borrowing her

So Alma is a shop dog on the days Carla works in kindergarten.

Alma loves everyone.

I think she's a Buddhist

When you visit us in the shop, Alma is often the first to come out and greet you.

Gentle and loving and very, very cuddly… that's Alma.

She's a Labradoodle, born in 2020

Comes when called… sometimes

Is quiet and friendly and loves company.

Would love a belly rub
